Mission * Knowledge sharing, benchmarking, mentoring, and professional development for Federal employee leaders and practitioners of knowledge management To advance the state of KM practice in Federal agencies From the 2013 unadopted draft charter: The FKM Community will bring together guidance on the content, process and technology needed to ensure the Federal Community makes full use of its collective knowledge, experience, and abilities. The Community's vision is to be a major resource for the Government as it takes greater advantage of its most important resource, the knowledge federal employees have. * Informal @turodexter Turo Dexter, Convener, Federal KM Community 3 of 13
