DOCUMENT REVISIONS Boilerplate RFP Updates *Alternative Contracting Task Team Steering Committee that is made up of FDOT central office, District offices, Contractors, Consultants both Design and CEI. comment Design Build Boilerplate RFP is published and used Statewide FDOT and Industry work together through the Steering Committee to resolve conflicts within the updates CO receives comments from Industry, Districts and Internal Offices on proposed updates to the Boilerplate RFP FDOT and Industry meet to review and discuss updates to the Boilerplate RFP at the *Alternative Contracting Task Team Steering Committee CO generates updates to the Boilerplate RFP and distributes internally for review and comment

RFP DEVELOPMENT Process Boilerplate must be redlined until you reach a Final RFP. We will typically provide a comparison document from one draft version to the next to help highlight the changes. Boilerplate RFP provides specific notes/guidance to developer Boilerplate Division I Specifications- Tailored for DB, also a Pick list is provided to help tailor to specific project needs Questionnaire provided to aid in the Development in the RFP
RFP DEVELOPMENT Concept Plans Development Typically developed to 30% levels (general in nature) Particular commitments may need to be developed in greater detail (Example-Aesthetic Requirements) Concept Plans should be thought of as one solution Some aspects will set the minimum requirements Poorly designed concept plans will have a negative affect on the final solution Concept Plans should be changed if the RFP is revised
