Vogel About JADPRO LIVE The second annual JADPRO LIVE conference will be held in conjunction with the first meeting of the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology (APSHO) on October 30 November 2, 2014, at the Loews Royal Pacific Hotel in Orlando, Florida. The audience for the CE-accredited live conference is nurse practitioners, physician assistants, clinical nurse specialists, advanced degree nurses, hematology/oncology nurses, pharmacists, and physicians. The conference will begin on Thursday afternoon with workshops, followed by a welcome reception in the evening. The program will continue all day Friday through midday Sunday. The CE-accredited educational sessions presented throughout the conference will include didactic, interactive, evidence-based and fair-balanced content targeted to advanced practitioners (APs) in oncology. Advanced practitioners and physicians will come together to discuss current treatment options and advances in the care of the patient with cancer, describe key practice initiatives that are essential to the AP, and identify means to improve collaboration all with an ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes and decreasing adverse events. Each presentation will review best practices in a team setting.
