Do you want to learn how to design lessons that specifically meet the needs of your GT students? No worries! Region One ESC offers online workshops to help you! G/T Online 6-hour Update: Differentiating Instruction for GT Students These sessions help you learn about traditional methods of reaching gifted students as well as newly developed methods. Participants will learn what differentiation truly means and what it should look like for gifted students. You will also learn what is required by Texas law for the design of curricula for gifted students and what best instructional practices should be followed. In these sessions, you will contribute ideas to a discussion board, share your own experiences, and research related information. Course objectives will be met through Internet investigation, investigation of district information and practices, and threaded discussions. Career Development Resources Career Development Training is designed for counselors, college & career advisors, and CTE teachers teaching Exploring Careers and/or the Career Portals courses.
