COURSE DESCRIPTION This program is designed to provide a comprehensive review and update of both established breast imaging modalities along with advances in state-of-the-art techniques. A complete discussion with emphasis on practical advice of analog and digital mammography, breast ultrasound and interventional techniques will provide a strong foundation to advance to newer technologies. Identifying the role and interpretation of breast MRI will be given special attention. EDUCATIONAL GOALS After attending the course, participants should be able to: Discuss the newest techniques being utilized to diagnose and treat diseases of the breast. Recognize the newest techniques being implemented in breast imaging. Meet their yearly requirements for accreditation.
