Shelter/CCCM/NFI Cluster Meeting Notes Venue: IOM Office in Sana'a. Date/Time: Sunday, April 10 2016 at 10:00 AM. Issues discussed 1. Introduction and Ground Rules 2. Review action points fr previous meeting Action Point 1: IOM and Wethaq Foundation will share assessments done by their partners on Taiz with Cluster which will be circulated to the partners. Action Point 2: CSSW and LMMPO to share the needs assessment reports which carried out during the previous months. Action Point 3: Prepare preliminary NFIs PDM report Action Point 4: Update the cluster meeting calendar for the national and sub national clusters. Action Point 5: Draft advocacy statement for the cluster. 3. Displacement in Darwan area, Hamdan district In response to a letter shared by the local authorities, the Coordination team made an announcement on behalf of UNHCR to cluster partners for those willing to conduct needs assessment and distribution with no cost to be claimed and UNHCR will be responsible for providing and transporting the NFIs 4. Strategic Advisory Group (SAG) The Cluster Coordination Team presented the discussion undertaken in the previous SAG meeting and demonstrated the drafted work plan. 5. Gender Training The Cluster Coordination Team will organize the first training next week for 25 participants with only one representative per agency. 6. Cessation of Hostilities (CoH) plans and perception Cluster partners presented their perception of the CoH and their plans should access be gained to previously difficult to reach areas. 7. Engaging more CSO in activity implementation National NGOs are seeking broader inclusion in program implementation and wish for there to be wider partnerships between NGOs to foster capacity building and to take advantage of national NGOs established relationships with local cmunities. 8. HPF Draft Document The HPF draft document was shared with the cluster and the coordination team introduced the strategy, preferred activities, partnership arrangements, geographical focus and the deadline. 9. AOB a) Needs Assessment The coordination team briefed participants about the upcing inter-agency needs assessment in Hajjah which will be carried out with support fr Reach initiative. b) TFPM The coordination team will invite members of TFPM team to part take in Cluster Meetings. This will not happen in the 24 th April meeting, but in the meeting after. Participants will share and discuss assessments of IDPs with the TFPM team Action required/carried out IOM shared list of beneficiaries in Al Turbah, Al Mudhaffar, Al Qahira and Salah, Dimnat Khadir, and Al Mawasit districts IOM will share assessment reports - Wethaq Foundation as well Assessments lists were shared Still being finalized. Agencies are requested to bring videos of interviews of IDPs and distributions to next meeting Needs are being assessed by partners The work plan was finalized and translated. A copy was shared with all partners during the meeting. First Training was conducted on 5 April at IOM. Notes to be shared with OCHA and cluster partners were encouraged to provide further details by email. Coordinator to engage in advocacy with INGOs and UN to prote partnerships and also convene a meeting to discuss this issue. The coordination team is available for consultation and will send out the final allocation strategy.
