Management of the Labour Ward Joint RCOG/BMFMS Meeting Tuesday 19 Friday 22 June 2018 Venue: RCOG, London OVERVIEW This course is suitable for any clinician who spends a significant amount of time on the labour ward, or has a major interest in risk management and clinical governance, audit and guidelines, neonatology, anaesthetics, medical disorders, to practical obstetrics skills and how to run skills and drills training in your own unit. The programme includes a variety of authoritative speakers with ample time for discussion, debate and networking throughout the course of the meeting. This meeting is also recognised for and aims to cover the theoretical component of the "Advanced Labour Ward Practice" and "Labour Ward Lead" Advanced Training Skills Modules (ATSMs), which are undertaken as a ST6/7. The courses are valid for three years, and must be completed prior to completion of the practical component of the ATSMs. Those undertaking the "Labour Ward Lead" ATSM must also complete the "Advanced Labour Ward Practice" ATSM, and should therefore attend all 4 days.
