Conference overview and intended audience With the rapid changes in practice patterns and new evidence in the literature, it is imperative that the OB-GYN generalist and family medicine physician stay up to date on several key topics in general obstetrics, obstetrical emergencies, medical complications of pregnancy, gynecology and gynecologic oncology. This activity is intended for practitioners in obstetrics and gynecology as well as internal and family medicine including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses and other health care professionals who have direct responsibility for, or interest in, obstetrics and gynecology. Global Objective: The overall purpose of this conference is to supplement the provider s current knowledge with updated evidence-based strategies, techniques, and best practices for managing common challenges in the ever changing field of obstetrics and gynecology.
