Community Success (continued) Yoga at Gordon Denny Community School Yoga classes are off to a great start this year! We are offering 2 types of classes: a beginner, and a flow yoga (higher paced). They each happen once a week for one hour and are open to adults and elders, and will run most of the year. There are 2 trained instructors who are offering their time, to lead the classes. Yoga mats and blocks are also available for participants to use from the school in order to make it more accessible to individuals. Both instructors have dimmed the lights, just to make it more relaxing for the class as well and two classes have even been held outside! So far, we have had over 50 participants between both classes, including 2 males, and only 5 of them attend both classes--so all new individuals! Many of the participants have also said they really enjoy it, and two people have even admitted to falling asleep in the class because it was so relaxing!
