1. Introduction of KOICA Cambodia Office 1.1 Summary of KOICA ㅇ Established on May 1 st, 1991. ㅇ Agency for taking charge of government level grant aid ㅇ Promote relationships between Korea and developing countries through supporting their development 3

Major grant aid 4.3 Korea Overseas Volunteers(KOV) ㅇ Soksabay : The KOVs who have been dispatched to Cambodia Have also organized a volunteer group among themselves, called Soksabay, which means happiness in the Cambodian language. They gather once a month on weekends or holidays and visit local areas to engage communities in medical and educational activities. 18
