OJT NEG TRAINEE ELIGIBILITY DISLOCATED WORKER LAID OFF SINCE 1/1/08 LAID OFF ON OR SINCE 1/1/08 PROLONGED UNEMPLOYMENT (18 weeks) OJT NEG TRAINEE ELIGIBILITY DETAILS Per US Dept. f Labr ETA, all 3 f the fllwing criteria must be met: 1. Must be Dislcated Wrker as Defined in WIA 101(9): 18 years f age r lder and Citizen f the United States, r an eligible nn citizen; and Registered with selective service (if applicable); and meets the requirements f mre than ne f the fllwing criteria: Has been terminated r laid ff r has received a ntice f terminatin r layff frm emplyment; AND Is eligible fr r has exhausted his/her entitlement t unemplyment cmpensatin; OR Has been emplyed fr a duratin sufficient t demnstrate, t the apprpriate entity at a ne-stp center, attachment t the wrkfrce, but is nt eligible fr unemplyment cmpensatin due t insufficient earnings r having perfrmed services fr an emplyer that was nt cvered under State unemplyment cmpensatin law; AND Unlikely t return t a previus industry r ccupatin; OR an individual wh: has been terminated r laid ff, r has received a ntice f terminatin r layff, frm emplyment as a result f any permanent clsure f r any substantial layff at a plant, facility, r enterprise; OR Page 2
