Introduction At TekTone, our 30 years of listening to health care professionals has given us the insight to develop a nurse call system with all the features you want. We ve developed our Tek-CARE NC300 II nurse call system to enhance the service you provide to your patients. At the same time, you ll find it s the easiest and most efficient patient call system you can use. This presentation is designed to familiarize you with the Tek-CARE NC300 II nurse call system. For complete user instructions, please refer to the Operation, Installation and Service manual (part number IL715).

Introduction The Call Display The NC305LCD Master Station employs an integrated backlit color LCD VGA Display with 10.4 viewing area large enough to clearly display a great deal of information at once.

Introduction The Call Display (continued) Current calls are displayed in color with the highest priority calls listed first to quickly distinguish call urgency. Call types, such as ROUTINE, BATH, and EMERGENCY, are also spelled out. Room number, call station label, call type and call time are displayed on the left side of the screen.

Introduction The Call Display (continued) High priority STAT calls are listed on the right side of the screen. Locations of nurses and aides, as well as requests for nurse or aide presence, are also displayed on the right.

Introduction Master Station The water-resistant master station has quick-key access to the most-used functions. This compact unit with integral handset makes it incredibly easy to respond to calls.

Introduction Dome Lights Dome lights provide indication of call origin, priority and staff presence. Knowing the meaning of each dome light signal will allow you to respond correctly and quickly to a call. The next few slides show the dome light indicators for various call types.

Introduction White Lens The white lens indicates low to high priority calls, depending on flash rate. Steady on = Medium flash = Alternating red & white fast flash = Routine, personal attention, duty or staff Emergency, bath, priority, bed out or cord out Code call

Introduction Red Lens The red lens is associated with higher priority calls Slow flash = Fast flash = Alternating red & white fast flash = Monitor Fire (supplementary signal only if used) Code call

Introduction Green & Amber Lenses The green lens is associated with nurses, while the amber lens is associated with aides. Steady On = Slow Flash = Alternating green & amber fast flash = Nurse or aide present (when used with presence stations) Request for nurse or aide (issued at the master station) STAT
