Weatherization Assistance Program - $57 million Low-income families and individuals typically spend a higher percentage of their annual income for energy to heat, cool, and run appliances in their homes. This program was established to help decrease home energy costs. 2,813 homes retrofitted $640,000 in energy savings kwh usage reduced by 5,697,176 Reduced emission offsets = 10,399,907 miles not driven
State Energy Program - $55 million (Funded April 21, 2009) This program has dedicated a majority of funding to help Arizona schools upgrade energy efficiency and add renewable energy all designed to save taxpayers money through decreased energy costs and long-term energy savings.

Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy in Schools - $25 Million $17 million for Energy Saving Performance Contracting $7 million for Small School District Solar Program Administered by The Arizona School Facilities Board Dan Hinton Elementary School in the rural community of Pima, AZ.
21 st Century Energy Grants - $10.4 Million Solar Day Lighting project at St. Vincent de Paul, Phoenix, AZ. First time funding of renewable projects for nonprofit organizations; Solar in state buildings; Solar study by State Land Dept. to evaluate potential large-scale solar projects on state land; Program to demonstrate energy products made in Arizona; Funding for biofuels projects
Distributed Energy Leadership (Utilities) - $10 million The program works through partnerships with nine Arizona utility companies to increase or match incentives provided by utilities for distributed energy including solar water heating and solar photovoltaic projects. Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy in State Buildings - $3 Million Four have installed photovoltaic systems, two are under construction 450 kw of PV modules Electricity generated over 20 years estimated at 15 million kwh Solar-powered state building in Phoenix, AZ. (Health Services)
Manufacturers Energy Efficiency Grant Assistance (MEGA) - $3 million Offers manufacturers of renewable energy products up to $500,000 in a reimbursable grant for the purchase of new energy-efficient fixed assets (machinery and equipment only). Grants awarded to seven companies with equal match. Linamar Solar Systems, of Glendale, AZ received a MEGA grant.
Agricultural Renewable Energy Conversion Incentives - $1 million Date Creek Ranch near Wickenburg, AZ Allows the State Land Dept. through the Arizona Natural Resource Conservation Districts to provide incentives to farmers and ranchers to reduce reliance on fossil fuels for agricultural production in rural Arizona. 41 Farmers/Ranchers awarded
Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) - $9.5 million Funded for the first time by ARRA, the State of Arizona received $9.5 million to help local governments reduce greenhouse gases and promote energy efficiency in their jurisdictions.

Under Arizona s program, funds will be used to finance a variety of projects, such as building audits, retrofits and installation of energy-saving devices and equipment. Jerome - Install energy-efficient lighting and HVAC retrofits to municipal buildings. Quartzsite - Install energy-efficient HVAC units and thermostats at the Town Hall to reduce energy costs.
Other activities may include retrofitting of energy efficient street lighting and installing renewable energy technologies in or on government buildings. Kingman - Identify costeffective technologies such as street lighting to reduce energy use. Chino Valley - Install on-site renewable technology systems for municipal buildings.
