MISSION OF SAINT GEORGE HOSPITAL Saint George Hospital is a non-profit medical institution that ranks among the best hospitals in Lebanon. The mission of the Hospital is to provide the highest quality compassionate medical care at a reasonable cost. While patient care is at the core of its mission, education and research are essential to enhancing its excellence. Saint George Hospital strives to give hope to the sick, needy and underprivileged, and to be the place to turn to in times of hardship, pain and suffering. SAINT GEORGE CHILDREN S HOSPITAL In the next few years, the hospital will be a state-of-the-art medical facility dedicated exclusively to the care of infants, children and adolescents. Its mission is to provide comprehensive, specialized health services that enhance physical and mental health and well being of children in Lebanon and the region. In addition to delivering sophisticated health care to thousands of children, it will offer preventive and educational services to the community. It will also house a clinical research center. A non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization, directed by American citizens who share a common interest to improve the health status of the people of Lebanon by supporting Saint George Hospital in Beirut. The Foundation is engaged in fundraising to help needy patients, upgrade hospital facilities, and support clinical research and education of physicians and health care professionals. The Foundation is committed to building and equipping Saint George Children s Hospital.

FLOOR PLAN SAINT GEORGE CHILDREN S HOSPITAL The Children s Hospital is located on the fourth floor of the newly built addition with a floor area of 23,000 square feet and a support area of 43,000 square feet, offering access to a comprehensive spectrum of care.

FUNDS NEEDED TO BUILD AND EQUIP THE CHILDREN S HOSPITAL Saint George Children s Hospital requires funds in the amount of $6.25 million as follows: + Construction: $2.750.000 + Support Services: $2.000.000 + Equipment and Furniture: $1.500.000 The objective of the American Foundation for Saint George Hospital, Inc. is to raise $4.25 million for the hospital and $1 million for the Children s Endowment Fund for needy patients. Saint George Hospital has raised $2 million locally. The Foundation has recently donated two greatly needed, new, life-support ambulances. Our vision of compassionate, quality health care could not be achieved without gifts to the hospital each year from corporate donors and individuals. Every dollar received helps the hospital stay abreast of rapidly changing science and technology. Each financial gift goes to the people of Lebanon and the region through improved health care.
