THE ORGANIZATION / CLINICS / CULTURE Scenic Faculty Medical Group is located in Modesto, a mid-sized familyoriented city in central California, close to San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite and Sacramento. SFMG, in business since 1983, contracts with the County of Stanislaus to be the exclusive provider of primary care physicians for its six public health clinics (CLICK HERE for clinic location details), and also contracts with the Valley Consortium for Medical Education to be the primary faculty for its Family Medicine residency. The doctors are assigned to one primary clinic and develop their own panel of patients; they do not float from clinic to clinic. The County owns the clinics, hires all the support staff and each clinic has a County-employed clinic nurse manager, and an SFMG Clinic Chief, who work together to resolve any operational issues. This model allows our physicians to provide focused clinical and teaching services, without the headaches of managing the day-to-day practice operations, such as billing, hiring, employee relations, purchasing, etc. CLINIC LOCATION IMMEDIATE NEEDS: F McHenry Medical Office (2 practitioners) F Paradise Road Medical Office (2 practitioners) F Hughson Medical Office (smaller facility 1 practitioner) F Turlock Medical Office (1 practitioner) F Ceres Medical Office (1 practitioner) PRACTITIONERS WE NEED 7 PHYSICIANS: F Family medicine practitioners OB optional F Obstetricians F Pediatricians Our physicians have a high level of autonomy and trust, allowing individual interests to be developed. This also includes the ability to work more or less, depending on individual income desires and needs, which also allows for greater work/life balance. In addition, the opportunity to teach residents breaks the routine of clinic work, allows for continued professional growth, and generates a pipeline of physicians for the valley and our medical group. Physicians will be responsible for building their practice, however all of our clinics currently have patient waiting lists and are not accepting new patients.
