COURSE OVERVIEW This one-day program will provide neonatal nurses with the most up-to-date information on a variety of complex neonatal issues. Research and technology are constantly expanding. This program will review some of the latest therapies utilized in the treatment of the sick neonate. GENERAL INFORMATION The conference will be held on the first floor of the Ruth and Tristram Colket, Jr. Translational Research Building on the Raymond G. Perelman Campus. The registration fee includes buffet breakfast, breaks, lunch and parking. As part of our going green initiative, syllabus material will not be distributed at the conference, but will be available online at chop.cloud-cme.com. COURSE OBJECTIVES Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to: Discuss the current state of Zika virus and the neonate Recognize the need for nonpharmacological pain intervention in the N/IICU Discuss the potential implications for using donated human milk for neonatal hypoglycemia List indications for surgery for infants with congenital hyperinsulinism REGISTRATION FEE: $125 The registration fee includes registration materials, continental breakfast, lunch, breaks and parking. The group rates are $172 single and double occupancy, plus a 16.25 percent room tax. The special room rate will be available until Monday, April 16, 2018. After that date, reservations will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY Children s Hospital of Philadelphia reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course due to any unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation or postponement, Children s Hospital of Philadelphia will refund any registration fees, less a $30 service charge, but is not responsible for any related costs, charges or expenses to participants, including cancellation charges assessed by airlines/travel agencies. In order to process refunds for course withdrawals, cancellation must be received in writing by Wednesday, May 9, 2018. No refunds will be issued thereafter.
