Bring a dish to share at our famous, morning potluck. With the good cooks around here, you will eat well today! We ll listen to some traditional Irish music in the morning, and be dazzled by the students of The Nally School of Irish Dance after lunch. The Lakewood Division of Aging is partnering with Lakewood Public Library offer a friendly, easily paced class on various aspects of computer technology. Division of Aging Transportation will take you to the library and get you back home again. Four Tuesdays, beginning March 21 st, at 1:30 PM. This class is free. Suggested donation for transportation $3.00 March 21 st Internet Basics and Literacy March 28 th Internet Safety: Bill paying, Shopping and Internet scams. April 4 th Intro to Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Skype and Instagram. April 11 th Using your smartphone. Walking at Gunning Recreation Center 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM Mondays beginning in March 2017 As we get ready for Spring, let s plan on joining together with friends for some great walking exercise. While winter lasts, we will transport you to Gunning Recreation Center to walk on their heated track.. Sign up each week, one week in advance at the Lawther Center. Either plan on coming in for lunch or let us pick you up from home. Note: The elevated walking track at Gunning is NOT handicap accessible. For more information, or to register, please call the Activities Office at 216-529-5005. The Jack Cleveland Casino Trip!! Enjoy an exciting day out in the glamourous surroundings of the Jack Casino. Cleveland Orchestra Matinee Concerts Beginning in March 2017, the Division of Aging will be providing transport to Cleveland Orchestra concerts. Enjoy a concert by America s greatest orchestra without the stress of traffic and parking. The bus leaves Lakewood at 9:00 AM. Enjoy a continental breakfast and pre-concert talk, followed by the concert at 11:00 AM. Enjoy a mix of different music and don t worry about the ride.
