PHD PROJECT AHEAD With fewer than 45 African-American, Hispanic-American, or Native American Deans of business schools in the U.S., the need for administrative diversity has become increasingly evident. Project AHEAD encourages tenured minority faculty to explore positions in administration. Following The PhD Project model, this program offers resources and support by hosting webinars providing mentors to help members on this path. For more information, visit our website, http:///oursuccess/alumni-resources-programs and join The PhD Project AHEAD LinkedIn group for more information. We will also be holding AHEAD sessions as part of our newly launched PhD Project Faculty Alumni Association meetings in conjunction with the DSA Conferences. For more information, contact Marie Zara at mzara@kpmg.com or 201-307-8660. THE SPONSOR S CORNER We are pleased to report the renewals of: Aerotek/TEKsystems Citi John Deere Foundation KPMG Foundation As we continuously work to broaden support for The PhD Project, we ask for your support in acknowledging our Sponsors and also identifying prospects. If you have a corporate contact that might be interested in learning more about supporting The PhD Project, please contact Marie Zara at mzara@kpmg.com or 201-307-8660. THE PHD PROJECT CAMPAIGN PLEDGE Support The Dream! Thanks to your generosity, The PhD Project received over $120,000 from over 400 DSA members during 2014-2015 towards the 20 th Anniversary Campaign! Of this total, we raised $43,250 at the five DSA dinners. We would like to keep this momentum going, and hope that we count on your support again this year. We have added a new Professor giving level of $1,500 this is the approximate amount we spend per student per conference. So, giving at the Professor level will help us to fund another PhD Project student! At the DSA dinners (or right now!) you can make a donation using our text giving option (TEXT PHDPROJECT to 56512), or start the process of raising money from your family, friends and colleagues to help us to fund other PhD Project students. We have launched an online fundraising initiative that will allow you to share and post a personal giving page with your own networks asking them to support The PhD Project on your behalf. Support The Dream The PhD Project is helping you to Live the Dream - now it s your turn to help another student. So, consider making a donation now, donating at your DSA dinner or visiting /donate to Fundraise for the Project. There you can develop a personal fundraising page so family, friends and colleagues can donate on your behalf. At the DSA dinners you will see an envelope that includes breakdown of the Anniversary campaign giving, a PLEDGE card and a screen shot of the new personal fundraising page. Please contact Marie Zara, Associate Director of Development, at mzara@kpmg.com, or (201) 307-8660 with any questions. Thank you for helping to Support The Dream. Look for an e-mail this Fall to Fundraise for the Project. Pay it Forward by Giving Back. Thank you!
