Vice President: Brian Sierra Reports on upcoming ICC/ASU related events for the semester Reminds clubs that are not chartered to remember the deadlines and encourages to get done ASAP.
B. Chief Delegate: Esteban Bautista Club Delegate s Reports will ONLY appear in the Minutes if a report is submitted via email Reports on upcoming semester and joining and supporting club activities on campus. V. PUBLIC FORUM Entertained in PRESENTATIONS VI. PRESENTATIONS A. People Helping People: Presentation on a potential job opportunities for students and other individuals seeking financial or other support. Presenters handed out flyers and contact information on how to seek more information on the program. Presented by Omar and Liliana Martinez B. Office Depot: Supplied the ICC meeting with snacks and water for the ASU club delegates and officers. Presented by Robert King. C. Share (Outreach Program): Made presentation on Outreach Program and handed out information pamphlets to students in attendance. Presented by Jennifer Berger. D. Pasadena Jr. Chamber of Commerce: This presentation was regarding internship opportunities targeting college students. It was a seasonal based internship and currently accepting applications. E. Accreditation cycle 2009-2015: Student involvement. F. Batman/Superman October 19 th : The presentation was to promote the filming of the upcoming movie (no official name yet) Batman/Superman inspired movie that will be filmed here at East Los Angeles campus. Film-liaison stated that t- shirts/sweat shirts will be provided for the first hundred-thousand in attendance.
G. Active Shooter Drill: Purpose of this presentation was to present on an active shooter drill at East Los Angeles campus in order to be prepared for any and all attacks that could potentially poise a threat to this school or other campus. The message was regarding safety and protocol and being better prepared to handle a realistic situation. VII. DISCUSSION ITEMS A. Posting contract locations. Slides were reviewed of posting locations on campus as well as how to properly post flyers/posters. B. Blue tape usage. Further discussed in addition to posting contract and locations. C. Grills. This was discussed due to the number of old/rusty bbq grills that were not fully functional and posed several issues, such as rust, mobility, ease of access, and health risks. Clubs decided on and voted to approve removing the coal bbq grills and replacing with new grills. VIII. ACTION ITEMS (5 Minutes per Speaker) No Items IX. NEW/UNFINISHED BUSINESS No Items X.
