TEMASEK FOUNDATION INTERNATIONAL OVERVIEW OF GRANTS & OUTREACH TEN YEARS IN NUMBERS: MAY 2007 MARCH 2017 OUR APPROACH Since inception, Temasek Foundation International has reached out to thousands of participants across Asia. Our programmes bring together different resources from the host community institutions, the content partners, and Temasek Foundation International, and collectively, we contribute to Asia s human and social capital development. Our grant-making is grounded in these core principles: Outcomes - Focus: We support programmes that contain a strong focus on outcomes with a multiplier effect, through the transfer of learning by leaders and trainers to their peers and colleagues, to bring about sustained improvements in their communities. Partnerships: From defining needs to co-developing and co-implementing programmes, host community and content partners are critical in all phases of a programme, to ensure that programmes are relevant, meaningful and well-implemented. Ownership: By co-owning the planning and implementation of programmes, leaders of partner organisations signify the importance of the programmes and drive them to success.
