Blue, Gold & Green Alumni & Family Weekend October 3-5, UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH AT BRADFORD

welcome back. It s no secret that green is hot. Nearly everyone is talking about it. They re using words like environmentalism, environmentally friendly, sustainability, energy efficiency, recycling, and locally grown. We at Pitt-Bradford are also using those kinds of terms in our classrooms, our residence halls and in our conversations with each other and those with whom we collaborate both on campus and off. Therefore, it seemed only appropriate for us to develop the Blue, Gold and Green theme for this year s Alumni and Family Weekend. Creating that theme for Alumni and Family Weekend means that during your time back at your alma mater, you ll have the opportunity to participate in some environmental-related activities and events, including guided hikes in Allegany State Park, Marilla Reservoir and White Pines; our Third Annual Environmental Film Festival; and our Welcome Back Reception that will feature locally sourced food and beverages. You ll also receive a cool water bottle to use throughout the weekend when you sign the Blue, Gold and Green Pledge upon arrival. We hope you will be joining us for many if not all of the exciting greenthemed and other events. We look forward to seeing each of you. Hail to Pitt. Chris Napoleon 87-88 George Repchick 82 PBAA President PBAA President-elect jump into BLUE, GOLD & green!
