This seminar will take place at Novotel Resort, from 8 to 9 March 2011, in Phuket, Thailand. The Regional Meeting of the Study Group 3 Regional Group for Asia and Oceania (SG3RG AO) (former TAS Group) will follow the seminar at the beginning of the afternoon on 9 March 2011 at 1400 hours. The seminar and the SG3RG AO meeting will be conducted in English. In response to the request of Members, the agenda of the seminar includes topics related to Trends on Convergence and Migration leaps: economic and regulatory issues, Broadband service pricing, etc. In order to support the works of the AO Regional Group, an overview will be presented on mobile termination charges. Discussion sessions will be conducted to promote dialogue and exchange of experiences among participants. Participants are requested to submit, in advance, an update of their telecommunication sector scenario, by updating the Tariff Policy Survey. In order to build on work in progress and optimize transfer of knowledge, we strongly recommend that, where possible, administrations designate their representative to the Regional Group for Asia and Oceania (SG3RG AO) to attend this seminar or register an official who has the expertise and responsibility for matters of costs and tariffs.
