Tentative Event Schedule for the Class of 1968 This schedule will continue to develop, so please check back again soon. On-campus event locations will be announced closer to the event. The Class of 1968 hopes you will consider staying on campus or at the Hartford Marriott Downtown. THURSDAY, JUNE 7 11:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art * Arrive at your leisure to visit America s oldest continuously operating public art museum with Gerald Pryor 68, P 17 and other members of the Class of 1968. Attendees may purchase lunch upon their arrival and visit the gift shop. A docent-led tour will begin at 1:00 p.m. and run until 2:00 p.m. All alumni and their guests are welcome to attend. 600 Main Street, Hartford 11:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. Half-Century Club Golf Outing * Golf enthusiasts are invited to meet Walter Harrison 68, H 18 to enjoy nine holes with other members of the Class of 1968. Tee times begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue every 10 minutes thereafter. Golfers will be grouped in threes and fours, and a cart will be provided to each grouping. Club rental is available for those who need it. All alumni and their guests are welcome to play. 4:00 9:00 p.m. Class of 1968 Reunion Headquarters A special registration table will be available to members of the Class of 1968 to pick up Reunion name badges, meal tickets, a program book, and residence hall keys (if applicable). Please stop in at your leisure between these hours. Smith House, English Room 6:00 9:00 p.m. Class of 1968 Welcome Reception and Dinner * Members of the Class of 1968 will enjoy a festive reception and dinner on campus in celebration of their 50th Reunion. Spouses and guests are encouraged to dress casually for this event. A campus shuttle will be provided from the Hartford Marriott Downtown, or you may choose to drive yourself. FRIDAY, JUNE 9 9:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m. Reunion Headquarters During the weekend, Reunion Headquarters will be located in the newly renovated Cave on the lower level of Mather Hall. Visit Reunion Headquarters to check in, purchase meal tickets, get a program book, pick up your name badge, and receive your housing assignment. This also is the location of Lost and Found, a cell phone charging station, and on-campus housing assistance. Mather Hall, the Cave 9:00 10:15 a.m. Class of 1968 Breakfast and Bantam Banter * The Class of 1968 invites classmates to gather with several current Trinity students for breakfast. The Bantam Banter will be led by Michael Lestz 68, P 13, 19 and Gerald Pryor 68, P 17 and will include a lively discussion of life on campus from a student s perspective and a review of the 50th Reunion Yearbook. Come ready to share stories of the past 50 years since graduating from Trinity. 10:30 11:15 a.m. Class of 1968 Memorial Service We will remember and give thanks for the lives of members of the Class of 1968 who have passed away. This service will be beautifully planned by members of the class in partnership with the Rev. Allison Read. Special guests will include the families of the deceased. The Chapel 11:30 a.m. 2:00 p.m. Half-Century Club Reception and Luncheon * Join alumni and guests in the Classes of 1953 1973 for a special afternoon to honor the Class of 1968 as it enters the Half-Century Club. The Class of 1968 commemorative lapel pin will be revealed and placed upon the official Trinity College Half-Century Top Hat. Mather Hall, Wean Terrace Rooms and Washington Room 11:45 a.m. 2:00 p.m. Off-Campus Bus Tour for Spouses and Guests Spouses and guests are invited to participate in an off-campus bus tour of Hartford. More details about this event will be published soon. The bus departs from Gates Quad driveway promptly at 11:45 a.m. 2:15 3:45 p.m. Class of 1968 Music and Musings with Peter Alsop 68 Treat yourself and your family to a delightfully intimate gathering with humorist, songwriter, philosopher, and psychologist Peter Alsop 68. We ll sing songs about the current state of love, sex, gender, religion, fracking, social security, and other topics in our country and in our lives. Enjoy some fun and free therapy at this entertaining event. 4:00 5:30 p.m. Class of 1968 Trinity Story Hour with Joseph Saginor 68 Modeled after The Moth Radio Hour of NPR fame, this exciting session invites participants to share short stories (five to seven minutes) from their college years at Trinity, be they lighthearted or life changing. 4:00 7:00 p.m. Reception, Open House, and Alumni Row * Enjoy a casual reception and tour of the Friends of Trinity Rowing Boathouse. Alumni who wish to participate in the alumni row should arrive no later than 4:15 p.m. and dress accordingly. City Steam Brewery will provide light refreshments and a beer tasting beginning at 4:30 p.m. A Trinity campus shuttle will run on a continuous loop from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. between the Gates Quad driveway and the boathouse. Friends of Trinity Rowing Boathouse, 55 Riverside Drive, East Hartford 5:30 6:30 p.m. Gathering for Friends of Bill W. A self-led and informal gathering for Friends of Bill W. will be held. 6:30 9:00 p.m. Traditional New England-Style Clambake * It s time to celebrate a Reunion tradition the New England-Style Clambake on the Main Quad. Buffet service will close at 8:30 p.m. Look for tables noting your class year to help you easily connect with friends and classmates. A variety of family-friendly activities and entertainment will be provided throughout the evening. Main Quad, adjacent to the Chapel 9:00 p.m. midnight Late-Night Social at Vernon Social Wrap up Friday s festivities with an informal gathering at Vernon Social. Relax, reflect, and reconnect by the fire pits. Late-night entertainment will be announced. Grab a seat near the main stage you won t want to miss it! This event is for adults only. This activity also will include a few laps around the spectacular, newly renovated track at Jessee/Miller Field! Gather your friends, and meet on the Cave Patio at 8:15 a.m. to stretch. Take part in the fun for all ages and skill levels, rain or shine. Departs from the grass area near the Cave Patio, Gates Quad 8:30 9:15 a.m. Good Morning! Yoga Start your morning filled with meditation and reflection led by a certified yoga instructor. Dress accordingly, and arrive five minutes prior to the start of the session. 8:30 10:30 a.m. Class of 1968 Breakfast and Bantam Banter * The Class of 1968 invites classmates to gather for breakfast and discover who hung a tire on the flagpole in 1967! Let s see who fesses up, as well as reveals other funny stunts from their time as students. All alumni and friends are invited. Remember to wear your Trinity blue and gold! Assemble on the Long Walk near Williams Memorial 11:00 a.m. noon National Alumni Association Convocation Class gifts and annual fund participation levels will be recognized at Convocation, the annual meeting of the National Alumni Association (NAA). Main Quad, near the Bishop statue Noon 4:00 p.m. All-Reunion Cookout on the Main Quad * It s fun for the whole family on the Main Quad! Enjoy outdoor activities and a barbecue cookout along with fellow classmates, faculty, family, and friends. Look for tables noting your class year to help you connect easily with friends and classmates. Lunch will be served from noon to 2:00 p.m. Music and other entertainment will be offered throughout the afternoon. Main Quad, adjacent to the Chapel 12:30 2:00 p.m. Photo Opportunity for Multigenerational Bantam Families A special photo opportunity will be available for all alumni who are celebrating Reunion 2018 with alumni family members (grandparents, parents, spouses, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, etc.). Gather your family, and meet our photographer at the Fuller Arch. Fuller Arch 1:00 1:45 p.m. Scavenger Hunt at the Trinity College Chapel The Chapel is a Hartford landmark and architectural icon of the college. Explore and discover some of its history and charm. Join a small group in a quest to find 10 curious and interesting details of the Chapel. Bragging rights go to the team that finishes first. Share your photos online by using #TrinReunion2018. The Chapel 1:00 1:45 p.m. Tour of the Trinity College Chapel and Carillon Tower Explore the art and architecture of the Trinity College Chapel, and climb your way to the top of the carillon tower. This family-friendly activity will delight guests of all ages. Please enter the Chapel through the main doors to begin the tour. The Chapel

1:00 4:00 p.m. Bridge Club and Other Card Games Meet up with alumni and friends while dealing a hand of bridge or other card games. Connect with classmates for conversation and friendship. Light refreshments will be available for purchase. Arrive and depart at your leisure, as this event will be available throughout the afternoon. Raether Library and Information Technology Center, Peter B s Espresso 1:00 4:00 p.m. Cultural and Greek Houses Open Houses Alumni visitors are invited to visit the many cultural and Greek houses located on Vernon Street. Please stop in at your leisure to meet the newest members of your favorite organizations. When possible, current students will be available to greet you. Vernon Street 2:00 3:00 p.m. Class of 1968 s Seventh-Inning Stretch Led by Stuart Bluestone 68 and Daniel Goldberg 68, this interactive panel is a discussion of what the members of the Class of 1968 plan to do with their lives in the later innings of life. Discover what legacies your classmates plan to leave while being inspired by the activities, travel, and bucket list adventures they wish to experience. 2:00 3:30 p.m. Alumni Flag Football Challenge Cheer on your favorite teams, which will comprise alumni from the 5th through 25th Reunion classes at the newly renovated Jessee/Miller Field. Coach Jeff Devanney 93 and other team captains will battle it out on the field. Spectators from all class years are strongly encouraged to attend, rain or shine. Jessee/Miller Field 2:00 4:45 p.m. Forums and Presentations A variety of alumni- and faculty-led forums will be held throughout the afternoon. One presentation will include President Joanne Berger-Sweeney. Forums will be held at 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. Special topics and speakers will be announced soon. Locations to be announced 3:00 4:15 p.m. Round-Robin Tennis with Coach Paul Assaiante P 06 Alumni of all skill levels are invited to participate in a round-robin tennis tournament led by Coach Paul Assaiante P 06. Please come dressed ready to play. A limited number of racquets are available on loan; attendees are encouraged to bring their own. The locker rooms at the Ferris Athletic Center will be available before and after this activity. Assaiante Tennis Center 5:00 6:00 p.m. LGBTQ and Friends Reception Gather for a reception with fellow alumni and staff members from the Department of Multicultural Affairs, the Queer Resource Center, the Women & Gender Resource Action Center (WGRAC), and the College Advancement Office. Learn about the variety of resources offered to current students and alumni while catching up with old friends and meeting new ones.

6:00 7:00 p.m. Gathering for Friends of Bill W. A self-led and informal gathering for Friends of Bill W. will be held. 6:00 9:00 p.m. Class of 1968 50th Celebration Dinner * Members of the Class of 1968 are invited to a special reception and dinner in celebration of their 50th Reunion. The Class of 1968 class photo will be taken at 8:45 p.m. Classmates may view special hobbies, passions, and works of art by their classmates during the pre-dinner reception. Mather Hall, Washington Room 9:00 p.m. 1:00 a.m. Reunion Dance Party Join fellow alumni, and get ready to dance the night away. We ll get the party started with a live band, followed by a DJ. Music will appeal to all ages, and special song requests will be encouraged. We ll see you on the dance floor! SUNDAY, JUNE 11 8:30 11:00 a.m. Brunch with the Bantam * Enjoy one last hoorah before you depart campus! Bring your camera to snap photos with friends old and new along with our beloved Bantam. Reunite with Reunion classes while you enjoy a breakfast buffet in Mather Dining Hall, just as our current Trinity students do. A grab n go option also will be available. Tables will have signage to designate each class year. Mather Hall, Mather Dining Hall 9:30 10:30 a.m. Service of Holy Communion Chaplain Read will conclude Reunion weekend with a time of reflection and thanksgiving.
