Weiss Memorial Scholarship Deadline: April 6, 2018 Amount: (2) $500 Criteria: The Marguerite E. Weiss Memorial Scholarship is in memory of Marguerite Weiss who was a business teacher in the Wrenshall School District. This scholarship is given by her husband who was a Math Teacher and Junior High Principal in Cloquet. Marguerite never had children but always wanted a daughter. She also knew the difficulty of being in the top of the class. Marguerite L. Gilmore Family Scholarship Criteria: Applicants must be in the upper 8 th percentile of their graduating class. Applicants must demonstrate traits of high personal character and leadership. Applicants must plan to enroll full-time in an undergraduate study of teaching, business or engineering at an accredited four-year college or vocational-technical school in the US for the entire upcoming academic year. The George and Helen Medich Family Scholarship Deadline: April 3, 2018 Amount: $1500 Criteria: Seniors with a 3.2 or better GPA entering the field of Medicine or Pharmacy. Students must maintain the 3.2 GPA throughout their first 1 ½ years of college. The scholarship will be awarded after the first semester of the 2 nd year of college.
