Besides being associated with the world renowned TPC Sawgrass Golf Club (which includes the Championship Stadium Course), the Resort has an extensive resort pool complex, world class spa, bicycles, tennis and many other resort amenities. Additionally, the Resort has a beach club on the Atlantic Ocean, ten minutes from the Resort via their free shuttle service. Besides the many excellent meeting and networking opportunities, there will be lots for you and your family to do over the weekend. Consider bringing the entire family and create your own mini spring break. Committee meetings will be held throughout the day on Thursday and Friday. The detailed meeting schedule, with room assignments, will be issued on the Section s website shortly; and we anticipate meetings will begin at 9:00 a.m. each morning. The PAC meeting will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, and both Real Property and Probate and Trust Roundtable meetings will be on Friday beginning at 1:30 in the afternoon, followed by At Large Members meeting. The breakfast and lunch buffets will be set up near the registration desk each day for your convenience. The Executive Council meeting will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, and will include a breakfast buffet available for members attending the Council meeting starting at 7:30 a.m. I anticipate the meeting will conclude around 11:30 a.m. The Thursday evening welcome reception will again feature an over abundance of food and drink, so make your dinner arrangements at your own risk. The Friday evening reception and dinner also will be held at the hotel. On Saturday night the reception and dinner will be held at JJ s Bistro. This is a fabulous French restaurant, and the owner is one of the major wine importers for the region. Due to size restrictions at the restaurant, this function will be limited to the first sixty members who register. Each evening, the Chair s Suite will be open for fellowship, food, drink and fun. On Wednesday evening, it will be open at 7:00 p.m., with light food options sufficient to satisfy those arriving Wednesday evening and not wishing to go out to dinner. On Thursday evening, the Chair s Suite will be open immediately following the welcome reception and will be fully stocked with an interesting assortment of desserts, besides
appropriate evening beverages. Friday and Saturday evenings light snacks and drinks will be available immediately following the dinners. As noted above, the Resort has a world class spa. Besides a straight 10% discount on all spa services being offered to our group, they also are offering special pricing on their top four spa services. Attached is a description of those services and the special pricing. You should contact the spa directly to make your spa reservations. Please note that spa appointments are limited and accordingly you should make your appointment as early as you can. Also attached to this letter, is a summary of the various pool, beach and other recreational activities that are available, including the Resort s day and evening programs for children. Again, you are urged to contact the Resort directly for more detail or reservations. Pat will be hosting a spouse s breakfast on Friday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Chair s Suite. If you have a spouse, guest or significant other who is interested in attending the breakfast, please make sure you sign them up where noted on the attached registration form. This breakfast is a great way for spouses and guests to meet each other and is open to welcoming new members. On Sunday morning there will be the traditional farewell breakfast buffet. Besides being your last opportunity to eat and drink before the next Executive Council meeting, it s a great way to wrap up the weekend with your friends and colleagues before heading home. I have saved the best for last GOLF! We have reserved 20 tee times on The Players Stadium Course for Saturday afternoon, immediately following the Executive Council meeting.
