The majority of the service is delivered within the community using a 7 week group programme, and on occasion one-to-one and/or telephone support. Sessional Smoking Cessation Facilitators play a key role in delivering and monitoring the service standards agreed across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. Working with the interdependent team you will provide sexual and reproductive health care to clients based on a social model of health care. You will be a Registered Nurse on Part 1 of the NMC register educated to Diploma/Degree level with significant post registration experience and evidence of continuing professional development. You will be required to have a specialist knowledge gained from post registration modules Level 3 or previous NBS/ENB equivalent in Family Planning Reproductive and Sexual Health. You will also be expected to work across the Sandyford Greater Glasgow and Clyde geographical area. As part of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde's pre employment checking for all appointed candidates, evidence of current NMC registration will be required prior to start date. You should therefore note candidates who are unable to provide confirmation of current NMC registration, in line with projected start date for this post, may not be shortlisted for interview.
