Bearkat Camp Bearkat Camp is designed to help you foster new friendships and to introduce you to the spirit, pride and traditions of Sam Houston State. You can make new connections by competing in a game of tug-o-war, challenging yourself on the ropes course, or by simply mingling around the campfire. This four day, three night camp is available for incoming freshman; there is also an additional camp available for transfer students.

Intramurals Our motto at Rec Sports is Jump In. Play hard. There are plenty of opportunities to play, so c mon and jump right in! We offer a variety of team, dual, and individual activities with both competitive and recreational divisions.
