UTILITIES Garbage Rate Increase Solid Waste Disposal, Inc. has informed the City of Thibodaux that the company has exercised their contract option to increase the unit price of garbage service with the City of Thibodaux. Starting with the February 2007 billing, the new unit cost charged to customers will be $16.14 per month, which is a 3% increase as compared to the old rate of $15.67.
