One Act Team Brings Home Outstanding Performer Awards What would our world look like without comedy and laughter? This year s One Act play, Accused of Comedy, gives us a look at what that world would look like. Two comedians (Beau Miller and Ben Anderson) and a laugher (Amelia Morkve-Stirling) have been arrested and brought before the Magistrate (Shamae Bench) to plead their case. With a plethora of puns and one-liners, the accused manage to bring the Magistrate around to their way of thinking. The FA One Act team performed this play at the Region 4 One Act Play competition in Mitchell on Thursday, January 18. While the cast did not move on to the State competition, Miller, Anderson, and Morkve-Stirling were all chosen to receive Outstanding Performer Awards. The team was coached by Gwen Ortman with Ryan Brockmueller assisting with lights.
