The SWMS is a Tier 3 MDT service consisting of Consultant Endocrinologists, a GP with Specialist Interest, Clinical Psychologists, Dietitians, Physiotherapists and Health Trainers. Since it s beginning approximately 10 years ago the SWMS has grown quickly and now provides a Tier 3 service to the areas of Hartlepool, Stockton-On-Tees, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland, Whitby, Hambleton and Richmondshire. This new post comes as a result of additional CCG funding due to increased referrals to the SWMS which is a testament to the success and popularity of the service. The successful applicant will be responsible for running the SWMS dietetic service at one of the community venues and may also be required to provide cover at other venues. The successful applicant will have previous experience of working in the NHS as a dietitian and possess good written and verbal communication skills and be able to demonstrate excellent team working skills. Expressions of interest are welcome for a twelve-month secondment opportunity within the Dermatology Directorate for an experienced and enthusiastic nurse to work with patients having a diagnosis of skin cancer. This new post will involve providing specialist and expert knowledge and research based practice to all patients requiring specialist skin cancer care across the Dermatology Directorate. We are looking for a dynamic, innovative and highly motivated individual, with excellent communication skills. You will need to be able to work to a high degree of autonomy, as well as being a key contributing member to the multidisciplinary team working. This post has the potential for further development and you should be fully committed to developing nurse led services.
