Completed annual operating budget for the unit. Completed Quality Assurance program quarterly to monitor the quality of nursing care provided. Assisted in the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies. Developed an outpatient Day Hospital program. Assisted with patient care as needed. 1987 1994 Nurse Manager, Frazier Rehab Center Began at Frazier in a staff nurse position on the Stroke Unit. Promoted to Associate Nurse Manager of a 31 bed Orthopedic Unit in 1990. Promoted to Nurse Manager of a 15 bed Brain Injury Unit in 1992. Job duties as Nurse Manager were similar to those described above. Also, developed the outpatient Day Hospital Program at Frazier. 1985 1987 Staff Registered Nurse, UpJohn Healthcare (now Gentiva) Worked on private duty cases as well as supplemental staffing in various acute care settings on their medical/surgical units 1984 1985 Staff Registered Nurse, Northfield Manor Nursing Home Began in a nursing assistant position on the Skilled Nursing Unit. Transitioned into a Staff Registered Nurse position on the same unit upon completion of my degree. Responsible for providing basic nursing care to approximately 50 patients.
