Agenda No. 8.2 Action taken report on the 8 th Advisory committee meeting held on August 5 th 2017. Agenda Particulars Decision taken Action taken Agenda 8.2 (1) Monetization of NSS works should be as per the NSS guidelines issued by NSS regional Office Agenda 8.2 (2) PC requested additional budget of Rs. 40,000.00 (Rupees forty thousand only) to meet various expenses of new NSS Unit in respect of University Department. Wednesday, November 22, 2017 It was decided to monetize all NSS activities (Regular and special camp) as per the guidelines issued by NSS Cell Hon ble Vice Chancellor, sanctioned additional budget and instructed FO to release the same All activities are monetized as per the guidelines for the year 2016-17. Agenda 8.2 (3) Re-constitution of NSS advisory committee at University level It was resolved to reconstitute University Advisory Committee by inclusion of JSS University Dept. Unit conti.. Reconstituted with inclusion of Dr. G.K Chandrashekarappa as head and Dr. RRA as NSS Officer of NSS Unit of JSSU Department. Agenda 8.2 (4) Enrollment of NSS volunteers for the year 2016-17. It was decided to start NSS new Unit at JSSU Dept with strength of 50 Volunteer All Units enrolled NSS volunteers as per the sanctioned numbers for the year 2016-17 Wednesday, November 22, 2017 9th NSS Advisory meeting 9

Agenda 8.2 (5) NSS regular and special camp activities 2016-17. Agenda 8.2 (6) Organization of NIC sponsored from NSS Cell of Govt. of Karnataka It was discussed and informed to all NSS officers to organize various NSS regular and special camp activities. It was decided to organize NIC at JSS University for the year 2016-17 and Hon ble Vice Chancellor instructed PC to conduct separate meeting and workout the event of NIC conti.. All Units have submitted list of NSS volunteers and conducted regular and special camp activities. NIC was organized at JSSCPM from 1 st to 7 th Dec 2016. The event was successful. Agenda 8.2 (7) Celebrate NSS day on 24 th Sep 2016 at all constituent colleges Agenda 8.2 (8) Conduct of NSS special camps at adopted villages It was decided to celebrate NSS day at all constituent college and Hon ble Vice Chancellor instructed to give NSS awards on that day. ALL POs were informed to conduct NSS special Camp activities before 31 st Jan 2017 at adopted villages. NSS Day was celebrated at all constituent colleges but NSS awards were given on NIC inauguration function on 1 st Dec 2016. Special camps activities were conducted at the adopted villages.
