ASA-ALT Mission: Serves as the Army Acquisition Executive. To effectively and efficiently develop, acquire, field, and sustain materiel by leveraging domestic, organic, commercial, and foreign technologies and capabilities to meet the US Army's current and future mission requirements. ARFIT Role: Provide visibility of IT spending and ensure most use of cost-effective means. Validate that all Program Executive Offices (PEO) / Program Managers / Program Directors are utilizing cost-effective vehicles (as per AR 25-1) for all IT procurement. ASA-FM&C Mission: To oversee the proper and effective use of appropriated resources to accomplish the Army's missions; to provide timely, accurate, and reliable financial information to enable leaders and managers to incorporate cost considerations into their decision-making; ARFIT Role : Identify all IT procurements made with current year funds. Benefit: Insight into end of year IT spending Insight into forecasting for future year IT budgets Approach: TBD 10

ACC Mission: ACC s Soldiers, civilians and contractors support warfighters worldwide by acquiring equipment, supplies and services vital to Army Soldiers mission and daily needs. ACC offers contracting expertise ready to support the warfighter while ensuring responsible stewardship of taxpayers' funds. An international business enterprise, the command awards more than 260,000 contracts each year valued at more than $92 billion, which is equal to 66 percent of the Army s contract dollars. ARFIT Role : Army Contracting Command (Army Subordinate Command of AMC), with support from the General Counsel, ensure the Army makes better use of enterprise service contracts (like CHESS) and other cost-effective vehicles. Benefit Economies of scale cost savings; claim efficiencies Visibility Approach: TBD 11

Army Cyber Command Mission: To plan, coordinate, integrate, synchronize, direct, and conduct network operations and defense of all Army networks. When directed, Army Cyber Command will conduct cyberspace operations in support of full spectrum operations to ensure U.S. and allied freedom of action in cyberspace, and to deny the same to adversaries. Army Cyber Command is to be the Army's single point of contact regarding cyberspace. The command will provide reporting, assessments, recommendations, synchronization, and integration for cyberspace incidents, events, and operations. Army Cyber Command will focus the Army's execution of cyber research and development, product and combat development, as well as working with the Army Training and Doctrine Command and others to improve all aspects of doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership, personnel, and facilities for cyberspace.
