Environmental Remediation Execution Methods ~95% of environmental work is contracted out. Primarily utilize Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Emphasis on developing and utilizing small business (SB) firms. Project Acquisition Strategy Board determines appropriate method of execution. Regional sharing of ERS contracts within NWD. 21

Environmental Remediation Opportunities Multi Environmental Government Acquisition (MEGA): MEGA is a combined acquisition strategy with multiple USACE Districts. The acquisition strategy includes combinations of Unrestricted and Small Business ERS; A-E; Pre-Placed Remedial Action (PRAC); and Environmental Consultation Services contracts that are national and/or regional. Current Status: Acquisition Strategy and Plan has been approved. MEGA Management Plan has been approved Statement of Work developed collaboratively by all eight Districts. Kansas City District submitted first solicitation and made first award AE. 22
