The VIKING VOICE A newsletter for School District 233 families Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School May/June 2017 hfhighschool.org instagram.com/hfhs59 twitter.com/hfhs59 Superintendent s Note Greetings! We are so proud of our students accomplishments this year in and outside of the classroom. Our Class of 2017 graduates will soon be off to great places, including Harvard University, the University of California - Los Angeles, New York University, the Ohio State University, the University of Michigan and the University of Notre Dame, to name a few of the very selective colleges our students have chosen to attend this coming fall. Students, be sure to stay focused and finish strong this spring! We have several opportunities for parents and community members to experience H-F in May. I hope you can take some time to see a play, concert, dance recital, art show or other special event on our campus that showcases our incredibly talented students and staff. Please see the May and June calendars inside this issue. It has been a remarkable year! Dr. Von Mansfield, Superintendent
