The Rose Report A publication of National Charity League Rose Chapter Spring 2017 PRESIDENT S MESSAGE Julia Mann It seems like yesterday, when Paola Lloyd, Manda Kelley and I were attending the National Convention in Las Vegas preparing to take on the challenge of leading our Chapter in a year of celebrations and new beginnings. I am not sure we fully appreciated all of the issues that we might face, however, the bond that was built in the very beginning of our leadership year held strong, and the support of not just the Board, but also the membership was the true example of the Power of Ten! It has been a tremendous honor to lead our Chapter this year and I thank you for the opportunity. The emotional rollercoaster of being a first time senior mom clearly over took me at times, but I can t think of a better way to have contributed to the conclusion of the NCL experience for the Class of 2017. I want to thank the 2016-2017 Board again for the tireless efforts, their support for our Mission and passion for the Vision of National Charity League, Inc. I also want to thank my family for their patience and support as they too had to sacrifice their time with me so that I could serve in this position. Below is the final top ten list which could not have been completed without each of you. Top Ten Moments of 2017 10. The San Antonio Rose Chapter Tenth Anniversary Celebration. 9.
