TEXAS SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY 3100 CLEBURNE STREET HOUSTON, TEXAS 77004 713-313-7011 DR. JOHN M. RUDLEY PRESIDENT, TEXAS SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY Dear Future Tiger, As President, it is my pleasure to congratulate you on your acceptance to Texas Southern University. I want you to know personally of my interest in you pursuing your higher education goals at Texas Southern University. Conveniently located in the heart of the fourth largest city in the nation, here are just a few of the reasons you should be excited to attend TSU. Texas Southern possesses an array of programs, including 45 undergraduate, 29 masters, and nine doctoral degrees, that I believe makes it a university of first choice. TSU s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Jesse H. Jones School of Business and Thurgood Marshall School of Law have all received national recognition for the quality of programs offered and graduates produced. Countless students received their foundational training in biology and chemistry programs offered through our College of Science and Technology. In addition to these programs, we offer some of our top students entrance into the Thomas F. Freeman Honors College, an exclusive and demanding interdisciplinary program that equips members for success at the local, national and global levels. Our Urban Academic Village offers a select group of freshmen students enhanced 24/7 support, including specialized housing with professors, counselors and other high-achieving students. I wish you continued success and look forward to seeing you on campus in the near future enrolled as a student at Texas Southern University. Sincerely, John M. Rudley President Texas Southern University 3
