The Village is looking for an operator with the vision and wherewithal to develop the Breezewald Pavilion into a destination venue and outstanding community asset. The successful Proposer shall demonstrate the ability to operate the Pavilion as a sustainable business venture, in partnership with the Village of Lake Zurich. Successful operation of this venue will stimulate economic and physical activity in the Lake Zurich s Main Street district, enhance community development, and cover the Village s costs of providing the Pavilion venue. SECTION 2 - DESCRIPTION OF THE CONCESSION The Village will construct the Breezewald Park Pavilion over the winter months of 2017 / 2018 with a schedule of completion in early 2018. Attached to this RFP are conceptual renderings of the Pavilion structure and patio area, with the final design and location subject to modification during construction. The Village envisions the Pavilion providing a lakeside beer garden venue. The Village anticipates that the Pavilion would be open daily between Memorial Day through Labor Day, weather permitting, with season open/close dates and hours of operation to be negotiated.
