6) Total # of Interviewees Referred: For the period from November 23, 2016 November 22, 2017, this Employment Unit interviewed 114 interviewees for full-time job vacancies. 7) Supplemental Recruitment Initiatives. a) Hosting of Job Fairs CBS Radio Career Fair- Sales Professionals Date: Thursday, September 28 2017 Personnel involved: Human Resources & Sales Managers CBS Radio Minneapolis hosted a career fair open house for individuals interested in our Account Executive position. The Sales Managers spoke with career fair attendees about the stations, job openings, and accepted applications for employment. b) Co-Sponsoring of Job Fairs Professional & Technology Diversity Career Fair Date: Tuesday, September 19 2017 Personnel involved: Human Resources The Human Resources representative spoke with attendees about careers in radio, the skills required for positions in radio, current job openings, and accepted applications for employment.. c) Participation in Career Events Sponsored by Educational Institutions Station Tour and Job Shadow Date: Thursday, May 25 2017 Personnel involved: On-Air Talent, Market Manager & Operations Manager The Employment Unit hosted a group of sports Jjurnalist students from Breck High School. The students received a tour of the radio station and learned about the operations of the stations, including the opportunity to observe employees and discuss the skills necessary for careers in broadcasting and process for obtaining jobs in broadcasting, including at the station. South Dakota State University Date: Friday, October 6 2017 Personnel Involved: Operations Manager The Operations Managers met with journalism students and spoke with them about careers in broadcasting. Students also received a tour of the station. Century College Date: Tuesday, October 24 2017 Personnel involved: On-Air Talent On-Air Talent spoke to students about careers in broadcasting and communications and the role of media in sports and entertainment. d) Training of Management-Level Personnel CBS Corporation Compliance Training Program Date: Ongoing Personnel involved: All full time employees, including management-level personnel Employment Unit employees, including management-level personnel, participated in CBS Corporation s Compliance Training Program, which included online training regarding the Corporation s Business Conduct Statement, ethical business practices, appropriate workplace conduct and preventing sexual harassment and employment discrimination. All full time Employment Unit employees received the 2016-2017 CBS Corporation Business Conduct Statement in September 2016 and were required to complete related online training. Employment Unit employees, including management-level personnel, also received copies of the CBS Corporation compliance newsletter (Compliance Up Close) and short video vignettes on the following subjects: anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws, diversity at CBS and business travel and expenses.
