Branch Planner and Profit Projections In an attempt to streamline the job planning process, beginning March 1, 2017 the active job list section of the Branch Planner will be discontinued. This process has been incorporated into NetSuite. The projection tab in the job record has been renamed to Planner. Under the Planner tab, the old projection section has been discontinued and replaced with a new transaction based projection. This method will allow the job to be projected over multiple months. Each month will have its own entry. Once a job is created and saved, you are to select Planner from the center tabs of the job. You will then enter the projected billing month of the job. If the job will require billing in more than one month, you will need to enter a separate projection for that month. Instead of entering projections for the total expected revenue and cost, you will now enter the projections by job phase, same as the Branch Planner. To review the status of your billed and unbilled jobs for each month, new saved searches have been created to track job status. You can reference either the HC Planner Summary or HC Planner Summary by Phase searches to choose the period of transactions for review. The resulting list will allow you to enter each job s projected revenue and cost by the projected billing month date. As the job information in the planner section is updated daily, you will have an ongoing revenue and gross profit projection by job phase. The corporation will still perform a snap shot of the company s projected revenue and gross profit at 12:00 PM (CST) on the 20 th of each month. If the 20 th falls on a weekend or holiday, projections will be tallied the next business day. 3/1/2017
