Maintenance Corner Just Some Friendly Reminders As the summer season finally sets in, we would like to take a moment to remind you of a few things to keep this community in the wonderful shape it is in, please remind your visitors as well. Firstly, please do not throw trash on the ground, or leave it lying around, and if you do see any trash around, please pick it up so we can keep our buildings clean. Secondly, please refrain from parking behind or in front of our buses; they are used frequently and need a clear path to move, and those are also fire lanes for fire and rescue buses. If you need additional parking space, you can park near the entrances to the building, or on the opposite side of the parking circle. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF APARTMENTS! Please do not remove plants, flowers, or vegetables from our garden or garden beds. Also, please remember that smoking areas are under the carports across from the entrances. Please do not smoke at the entrance to the building and do not leave cigarette butts lying around; we have cigarette cans to dispose of them cleanly. 6 Our Mother s Day Fashion Show went better than we could have dreamed, thanks to our great models. We have many new activities, such as our new Stretch, Stride, and Strive, a stretching and walking activity. We also have Takes and Makes, a new discussion group for the opinions of you and your neighbors. Giving Back gives you the chance to help others outside the community. Toss and Talk is all about getting to know your fellow residents using the question ball. Table-top Tuesdays are at lunch; work with your friends to win a prize. Jeopardy is like the show; come answer questions for a chance at a prize. Further, we have a Splash of Color, a painting activity. We also have Viewing from Afar; see exotic places without the hassle of airports. Robert, Rita, Richard, Clarice, & Sarah wait patiently for their chance to shine at the Fashion Show. Wilmer and Laurine smile for the camera before going out to flaunt their fabulous outfits at the Fashion Show.
