NROTC Marine Option Mission To educate and train highly qualified young men and women for careers as commissioned officers in the United States Marine Corps.
The Benefits Pays full tuition, lab fees, books, and uniforms Provides leadership opportunities $250.00 per month stipend (starting) Some universities will help with room and board

Obligation Upon graduation, you will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the USMC. You will be required to fulfill a fouryear active duty obligation to the USMC. Flight training guarantees require additional obligation.
Summer Training First Year CORTRAMID (Career Orientation for Midshipmen: An opportunity to interact with Marines and sailors in the career fields that may interest them in the future.
Summer Training Second Year Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, CA: An opportunity to participate in high-altitude survival and conditioning training
Summer Training Third Year Officer Candidates School (Bulldog) A six-week course in Quantico, VA intended to train, screen, and evaluate officer candidates for their potential future roles as officers leading Marines.

FAQ Q: Is there any obligation just for submitting an application? A: No! This is a scholarship application, not a contract.
FAQ Q: What if I decide I do not want to accept the scholarship if I get selected? A: Simply decline to accept. There is no obligation to even accept the scholarship.
Flight Contract New this year is the opportunity to apply directly into the flight program. In addition, successfully completing the Aviation Selection Test Battery (ASTB) can increase odds of selection.
