Must have volunteer activities and financial need. Sam Alexander Scholarship Established in memory of Sam Alexander. This award goes to a current sophomore or junior, 2.5 or above GPA. Must have earned a letter in a varsity sport, must have financial need. Sister David Barry Scholarship Must be a current junior with a 3.5 GPA. Must exhibit outstanding writing skills and participate in class discussions. Must be on the Kettle and/or Cauldron staff and have earned an A in English for the 9 th and 10 th grade and the first semester of the 11 th grade. Basso Family Scholarship Established through the generosity of the Basso Family. Must be a current freshman, sophomore or junior, involved in student council, sports program or student mentor, 2.0 GPA or above. Must have financial need and be able to show definite need. Cindi Biscaia Memorial Scholarship Established in memory of Cindi Biscaia. Must be a current freshman from St. Luke School, 2.5 GPA or above and must have financial need. Seldon Brusa Memorial Scholarship Must be a current 9, 10, or 11 th grade student, minimum 3.0 GPA, play a sport at SM. Must be an exceptional leader on their team(s).
Edward and Lillian Burke Scholarship Established in memory of Edward and Lillian Burke. Must have a 2.75 GPA or above, must be active in St. Francis de Sales Club, Campus Ministry or parish youth group, must have brother or sister in Catholic schools, must have financial need. Cause of Our Joy Scholarship Must be a current freshman, sophomore or junior, have a GPA of 3.0 or above, must attend Sunday Mass on a regular basis. Larry Conti Memorial Scholarship Established in loving memory of Larry Conti. Current sophomore or junior with minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA and has played softball or baseball at St. Mary's. Culligan Family Scholarship Must be a current 9 th, 10 th, or 11 th grade student. Must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, be involved in some organized extra-curricular activity, club, sport, etc at SMHS. Also must be involved in some faith-based youth group, ministry, etc, outside of SMHS (i.e. any church or community youth group, ministry, service club, etc. not necessarily Catholic.). Must have a 3.0 or above GPA, must exhibit community involvement, preference given to a south county resident such as Ripon, Escalon, Tracy or Manteca. Dominican Scholarship Established by the Dominican Sisters from the Enaid Jones Estate. Students must have great financial need, approximate income of no more than $25,000.00 a year. Father Clark Kelley, O.S.F.S Memorial Scholarship Established in memory of Fr. Clark Kelley, a beloved SM teacher and spiritual advisor. Must be a current 9 th, 10 th or 11 th grade sudent. Must have a minimum 3.0 G.P.A., be active in the St. Francis de Sales club, and must show financial need. David Khoury Memorial Scholarship Established in honor of David Khoury, former St. Mary's High School biology teacher. Must be a current junior, outstanding biology student. Leadership Summit Scholarship Must be a current junior, must have a 3.0 or above GPA, must be involved in some capacity of leadership. Must have a 2.75 or above GPA, must be a member of Student Council, Boy s Senate, Girl s Cabinet or the athletic program, must display financial need.
