Medaille is coming off of a run last season that saw them advance to the AMCC Championship Game for the first time since 2012 when they won the ECAC South Regional Championship. The Mavericks kicked off their season on Wednesday with a short trip to Buffalo State, where the Bengals proved to be too much for the Mavs 69-48. Senior RayAnn Call paced the Mavericks with 11 points, while freshman Dani Reinwald grabbed 15 rebounds in the season opening loss. Medaille will have a quick trip to Keuka on Sunday for an afternoon game before coming back to the Sully on Tuesday to host St. John Fisher.
