Kaumatua Actively seek the services of a local Kaumatua Te Reo To promote Te Reo in all Marae based activities and the wider community Actively encourage the use of Te Reo on the Marae Powhiri To welcome manuhiri in a culturally appropriate manner/format Tangihanga To support Whanau Pani/Kirimate to poroporoaki their whanaunga in a culturally appropriate environment Wananga Support and develop all aspects of Te Ao Maori in both the Marae and wider community
