The student will be expected to use the nursing process and the Neuman Systems Model when demonstrating their nursing skills. The demonstration of client care is based upon theoretical knowledge acquired from the co-requisite courses. At Cecil College, for all credit courses, students are expected to spend a minimum of 45 hours of 50 minutes each of combined instructional time and related coursework time per credit hour. NUR 114 is a 2 credit hour clinical/lab course. The student should expect to spend 90 hours in class and/or on online modules, and a minimum of an additional 30 hours outside of class.
