Unit Standard 17265 Assessor Notes and Instructions Before the assessment: Confirm the candidate has completed Unit 7442 Ensure you are familiar with the following Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992 Employment Relations Act 2000 Resource Management Act 1991 Discuss the assessment process with the candidate (Pre-assessment Interview) Give the Candidate a copy of Candidate Notes and Instructions, Equipment Checklist and Storage Guide During the assessment Ask questions as required at any time; accurately record the answers Observe the candidate carrying out the following tasks in accordance with the relevant Outcomes of the Unit Standard: Correct equipment chosen to do the task Safety check of equipment Correct protective clothing worn Correct cleaning agent chosen to do the job Equipment and cleaning agents used in accordance with manufacturer's instructions Disposal of soiled cleaning solution At the end of the task check cleaned and stored equipment Safety of occupants was ensured during cleaning operations Check the end result of the cleaning process.
