Korean Users Community! Condensed matter, neutrino, hadron and accelerator communities in Korea are very active and productive with strong international collaborations.! There has been a long history of strong collaborations between Korean and Japanese scientific groups since 1984 in all the research areas of J-PARC.! Core groups of Korean communities have been actively participating in researches related to J- PARC.

Why is CKorJ-PARC important?! J-PARC has been seen a very useful research facility for the future developments of Korean physics communities.! There are already over 200 potential users of J-PARC in Korea.! In order to support the research activities of these Korean users, it is essential to secure long-term funding from Korean government.! The geographical proximity is also very favorable for Korean communities.

Aims of CKorJ-PARC! CKorJ-PARC is the official representative of the Korean J-PARC users.! We are going to support research activities at J-PARC by Korean users.! We want to upgrade the level of collaborations between Korea and Japan to a more futuristic and productive one, sharing mid-to-long term strategy on related fields.

Summary I! In order to realize the potentials offered by J-PARC, we, CKorJ-PARC, has been established under special internationalization program of Ministry of Education, Science, & Technology, Korean government.! It is our mission to be a gateway to J-PARC for Korean scientific communities and support their scientific efforts.! We would also like to encourage Japanese scientists to strengthen existing collaborations and establish new networks with Korean counterparts.
