There have been a few folks expressing an interest in starting a Tatting Club here at the Steeple Center. Tatting is a technique for handcrafting a particularly durable lace from a series of knots and loops and can be used to make doilies, collars, jewelry, and other decorative pieces. People would bring in their own supplies and work on their own project, but would share patterns and help each other out when able. We would be looking for a leader, simply meaning someone to welcome people and coordinate any needs such as copies of patterns with Parks & Rec. If you would be interested in a Tatting Club, please sign up on the bulletin board outside Room 100 or contact Stephanie at 651-322-6016.
