On Wednesday, May 7th we have invited over 125 Maine Township residents to celebrate their 90 plus years of life. Included on this list is our very own Helen Jung who will be 98 years young in October, one of the oldest residents on our list. This event has always been my favorite as I have been organizing this event for over 25 years. I remember the first parties where I had my Grandma Jean come as a guest as she celebrated her 90 plus years with us! How lucky am I! Day Trip Information Rate 1- Easy means usually one stop, some walking and minimal stairs. Rate 2- Somewhat Difficult means that there are at least two stops and sometimes stairs. Rate 3- Difficult means that there are at least two stops and sometimes stairs and moderate to heavy walking. Cancellation Policy When canceling please keep in mind that we need to be able to resell your ticket first. If we are able to resell, a $3.00 cancellation fee will be charged per ticket. If the ticket is not resold, there will be no refund. Guest Policy If the trip indicates that guests are allowed the policy is one per paid member. Special Requests Please limit your request to sit with one person only and indicate this on your registration form. Also, if you need any special assistance, such as, wheelchair access, special menu etc...indicate this on the Registration Form. Please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope for each day trip! This restored Light Station features a keeper s quarters inside. Venture up the staircase for a view from the light tower. Choose your entrée ahead of time: Choice of Baked Chicken Breast Cordon Bleu, Tenderloin Steak or a Seafood platter -Beer battered Shrimp, Scallops and Tilapia. All entrees include your choice of Soup, Salad or Cole Slaw, Potato, Vegetable or Rice and Dessert. Then enjoy a guided tour and shopping, including a stop at The Brat Stop. We will start at Lawry s where you will choose ahead of time between Roasted Prime Rib or Fresh Salmon with Balsamic Glaze (lunch portion). Included will be Salad, Bread, Whipped Potatoes, Creamed Spinach and Strawberry English Trifle for Dessert. Free time to walk and enjoy the sights of Millennium Park. Then we board our own chartered Boat where we will go on Lake Michigan. This year we have added the Banjo Buddies to entertain us while we watch the Fireworks off of Navy Pier.
